wallpaper Installation Guidelines
Please refer to the following guidelines to prepare the wall, please note wall and site preparation are not included in the scope of work for installation. Wall and site preparation needs to be done by the client prior to installation.
- 1- The wall should be well prepared with putty and oil primer (1 liter mixed with 300 ml enamel paint) for wallpaper installation. This ensures that wallpaper sticks properly and doesn’t peel off. This has to be done by the client.
- 2- The wall should be free of any seepage or deformities. The wallpaper will not stick well or will peel off if the walls are not proper.
- 3- A ladder should be provided at the site for installation. For ceiling and double height, scaffolding should be provided by the client.
- 4- The site should be clear with no dirt or any other work happening in the same room. No furniture should be kept on the wall where the wallpaper will be pasted. Installers won’t be able to shift furniture, you may need to get it done prior to installation.
- 5- Additional site visit charges will apply in case installation is not done on the scheduled day if the site is not ready and it needs to be rescheduled.
- 6- The installation amount is to be paid at the time of installation.
